I was interested in a Grand Cherokee, went in and drove it, asked for a price. "Sales manager", came over, refused to give me a price unless I signed a form saying I would buy it. When I refused and told him I was working out my own finances, he tried to pressure me into letting him call my bank, to set up a loan of the amount of his choosing. He wouldn't even agree that the sticker price was what the car was available for. I think he thought I was wasting his time because I was in jeans and work boots. Honestly, my boots cost more than his crummy suit. Their loss, I took my business elsewhere. Stay away from [non-permissible content removed]. Been shopping for cars since 1982, this is the worst experience I've had.

I was excited to buy my teen daughter her first car. I carefully chose a used 2012 Kia optima that was listed for $8995. Decide to test drive and agreed to move forward with purchase. After 2 hours of negotiation with banks due to being an older vehicle, financing was not as easy but finally got an approval. I was presented with payment amount and term then asked to sign in agreement. Finally made it over to finance department where I was in the middle of signing paperwork when I realized how close I was to signing an extended warranty I never agreed to that would cost me an additional 2k!!! I stopped her and asked why that was added if I never agreed to any add-ons! She replied “ it’s not going to cost you anything extra, you’re payment will stay the same!!” I said, No I don’t want it so she snatched the paper and began printing a new bill of sale when I looked at it I realized the car price was $10,995. I stopped her again and asked her why that amount? She then got the car salesman to come and attempt to explain that it was a “added bank fee” I said that doesn’t make sense to me and I’m starting to not feel good about this.. I need the bank phone number to clarify this information! That’s when everything went completely crazy! The finance lady lost it and was extremely rude to me!! I felt like I was going to explode as I’m trying to explain my concern and they are refusing to give me a phone number to call.. they were talking over me and turned into a complete disaster.. I just grabbed my purse and left as tears just started to drop.. worst experience ever!!!

I contacted this dealer to come in for a test drive and was going over the price and fees I saw on Edmunds.com for this car. After I provided them with my personal information to qualify for a loan the sales manager I was talking to informed me that there was a non-negotiable $2500.00 charge for painting and rustproofing the car. I said I don't want that service but they said they do it for all of their cars and it is part of the price. So the $12,300 price was really $14,800 plus the other fees shown. He also mentioned a $1500 Lojack fee but that one was optional apparently. I was grateful he told me over the phone because I was going to drive 3 hrs to test drive and buy the car until I was told about this additional non-optional fee which was not listed on Edmunds.com. Essentially that would have been a 20% markup from the advertised price. Buyer beware.
