The grand prix is a very fun car to drive , it has a nice sporty feel but not too hard over bumps. The supercharger realy makes a big difference - it provides great tire smoking performance.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Review

This has been the best car I have ever owned. Only problem has been with the front wheel bearings. Both have gone out and it isn't a cheap repair. Engine is exceptional for the performance you get and the fuel economy you achieve. It has also run flawlessly for over 60,000 miles.

Best Features

Sun roof.

Worst Features

Better front wheel bearings and a way to lower wind and road noise in the cabin.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 4dr Sedan (3.1L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I've had this car for over two years now and have had no problems with it (which would be expected for a car that's only two years old!) It still drives like it did when it was new and I'm amazed at the highway gas mileage! We just got a 2005 Subaru Forester and while I love that car and really like the all-wheel drive, my Grand Prix is still the car I prefer driving.

Best Features

The large amount of drivers seat space. I'm rather tall and I've never felt cramped. The engine is rather nice, too. It feels fast, even though it's the base 3100. The dual climate control is killer, too.

Worst Features

I'd like more useful headrests, but most other improvements I'd have would have been solved by adding options or stepping up to the GT or GTP.

Review

What can i say i am 6ft1 and i tilt
the drivers seat back a little so the
ride is perfect. I drive a 650 mile
round trip to DC every weekend and it
is nothing but comfort. The Sound
system is great, dual climate control
and onstar service! I bought it used
with 64K miles on it, and it still
runs like the day it came off the
assembly line!

Best Features

Stereo is definately premium. The factory stereo sounds better than some of my friends 2K plus systems. Ride! Nothing but comfort, easily adjustable power seat. Smooth shifting even when you floor it from a light or passing on highway.

Worst Features

Windshield Seals. Around the upper corners of the windshield the seals seem to pop up a little. I noticed this to be true on most of these designed GP's even the sport models. Cupholder location. It is just to close to the gear shifter, and not convienent for tall people.
