A great runner
By Mike on

1998 Plymouth Voyager SE 4dr Minivan

I bought the '98 Voyager new off the lot, and other than regular maintenance, and an intitial snag with the radio, this car has been PRISTINE. Its engine is smooth. I have had no issues with the A/C. The transmission shifts smooth and clean. I think the bad rap some give the Chryslers are because they beat the crap out of them and don't take care of them - oil, tranny flush. I'm gonna keep it till it croaks - which will be a long time.

Best Features

The paint is good, it has lots of clear coat. I like how it has a real spare tire. It has powerful A/C even without the rear, it keeps up well here in the south. It has a wide tailgate for plywood. It runs quietly. The Mitsubishi 3.0L engine is a smooth runner. The 4 speed tranny makes the ride swift and smooth. It is easy to service.

Worst Features

They've improved on moving the rear seats out, my only bug.
