2004 Nissan Xterra XE 4WD 4dr SUV (3.3L 6cyl 5M)

Bought the truck thinking it was an off-
road machine, wrong. Alternator died
on me and the dealer said it was due to
being dirty and wouldnt fix it under
warranty. The truck has about 38k on
it and it rattles like an Army truck.
Gas Mileage is terrible. Installed a
cold air intake and flowmaster and
still don't have the advertised
mileage. Highway miles average about
15.25 and city is 17.85 even with
mods. Truck is sluggish at best on the
street but does perform off-road.
Watch out for front hubs coming un-
lubed easily. DON'T GET THE 5 SPEED,
i'll leave it at that!!!

Best Features

Rugged Looks, off road performance, long warranty, cargo capacity.

Worst Features

Better engine, more MPG (it's a small V6 with big V8 Mileage!!), better manual transmission, better service care, better customer care.
