Used 2003 Nissan Xterra Consumer Reviews
I hate this car
I bought the car in December with 71,000 miles. I just put it in the shop for something (not sure yet), it was loosing power and slipping. It has NO power and the 4WD sucks. I got stuck in my driveway in 1 inch of snow for 30 minutes one day, and the tires are good on it. It's gotten stuck other times too. I've had nothing but problems with the car since I got it, and I did my research on it before I bought it, no mechanical issues before. It has none of the benifits of an SUV. Also, it is very difficult to shift gears. I have to force it into first, second, and reverse a lot of the time.
Cool but needs metal
I like the Xterra, it's a life style choice.

Great Vehicle
I drove a Jeep Wrangler for the past several years and I was worried about how I would like this type of vehicle since I was used to a small rugid vehicle. I am so happy that I decided to get the Exterra. It is an awsome car with a great ride and it handles beautifully. I would buy this car again in a second.
I love my XTerra!!!
Bought the XE-V6 4x2 Auto and have driven it for about 700 miles. So far no problems, and have loved driving it around town. Build quality is excellent, and I have no doubt that Nissan quality will provide me with a long lasting, enjoyable SUV. Exterior styling is eye pleasing, with its tough, aggresive hood giving it a "masculine" look to an otherwise cutesy vehicle class. Great features, fun to drive and plenty of safety features for an average family.
Xtremely Xcellent Dudes
I love everything about my Xterra. From inside out it fits my lifestyle like a glove. Bodyglove that is! I test drove the Vue the Crv,Rav4,sorento as well as the escape and they were all ok, but don't take them camping unless it's in a hotel parking lot. Thanks Nissan this is the first Vehicle I feel good about buying...MCP IN NC
