2000 Nissan Sentra GXE 4dr Sedan

I drive 91 miles (one way) to work. I bought this car for economy and reliability. I expected durability from Nissan. I have 85K miles on this car and have had one repair bill of $116. This car averages 30 mpg in town and 33-37 mpg on the highway (A/C causes the lower number). I have a 20 year-old son and a 17 year-old son. Keeping them out of my car is almost impossible.

Best Features

My greatest surpsise has been the ride. When you ride 3.5 hours per day in a car you need solid comfort. The five-speed transmission is well matched to the peppy 1.8L N4. The storage bin on the dash is a stroke of genius.

Worst Features

The adjustment for the lumbar support could be a little more adjustable. Perhaps a little more modern dash layout.
