2005 Nissan Quest 3.5 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Drives like a car not a mini-van. Looks great and has more power than expected. It also handles very well.

Best Features

The sporty look verses the mini-van look.

Worst Features

Materials used inside the car feel like plastic. They should use better quality materials.

2005 Nissan Quest 3.5 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

Review

The transmission was replaced at 10,000 miles. At 17,000 miles the seal on the new transmission had to be replaced. Yesterday I was driving and the transmission would not shift out of second gear. Yes the overdrive was off and the transmission was not in low. That's the same thing it did before the first transmission was replaced. The rear sliding passanger door rattles. It has been repaired three times. The back of the drivers seat fell off. And the A/C works poorly. I'm hoping to lemon law this thing.

Best Features

The joy I will have when this pile of junk goes away.

Worst Features

Total redesign

Review

Traded in a pt cruiser turbo gt and cant believe how refined the quest is compared to the pt. The quest has a smoother, quieter ride, more power, more room, better gas mileage, handles better, more standard "toys", less torque pull on the steering wheel, etc etc. I really enjoy driving the quest. It corners like a sports car. I added 2" oversize hubcaps and they are absolutely perfect for the quest. Gives it an entirely different look. Sportier than ever! Added a nissan nose mask and it fits perfectly and really protects the front of the quest. Next additions will be a less restrictive "homemade" cold air intake and a straight through glass pack muffler.

Best Features

Power, handling, interior room, information center, overall looks, great handling, smooth ride.

Worst Features

Only improvement i can think of is another 50 horsepower...Woohoo!!!

2005 Nissan Quest 3.5 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Lots of interior room. Excellent performance. Comfortable seats and ride. Lots of features even on this base model. Very good brakes. Huge cargo area when 2nd and 3rd seats are folded down. Lots of storage spots. Nicely finished inside and out. Excellent head lights and turn lights. Great night vision. After initial getting used to, center console with all controls in one spot is a plus.

Best Features

Accelleration, 4-wheel, anti-lock brakes, seat comfort, interior room, storage areas (lots), exterior style, satalite radio (an available option), grocery bag hooks.

Worst Features

Gas mileage is less than EPA estimate - about 17 city, 26 highway, plastic fold-down driver's cup holders and drawer under passenger seat seems cheaply done.
