2002 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4WD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

Only 4 weeks out of an Accord EX, had to make a full-throttle accident avoidance when a red light runner skidded out of control on a curve. The Pathfinder literally LEPT out of the intersection and twisted around the oncoming vehicle. It remained level and solid thoughout and scared the beJesus out of me, as well as several bystanders. Awesome response and solid handling.

Best Features

The WHOLE CAR.It is roomier than several mid-sized even though it is very compact. Suspension leans towards handling and peformance and is offset by very comfortable seats. Nissan got the back seat right. Our 6'3" sons have no complaints. Very rigid frame, no rattles, no shaking.

Worst Features

Gas mileage for city driving. Perhaps its 4300 lb weight, unstoppable in 12" snow, is the reason. It could plow.
