1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4dr SUV 4WD

I've had my 95 SE PAthy for 3 and 1/2
years, and I still love it. It looks
great, and runs well. But there are a
couple of weak spots. The automatic
transmissions are prone to failure
requiring a rebuild. This can be
avoided by installing an aftermarket
trans cooler and disconnecting the
stock on. The step bars rust through
fairly quickly, but are easy to remove.
And the truck looks much better without

Best Features

It just doesn't get stuck! I've driven through deep snow and blizzards, and have only used 4 wheel drive to make sure it was still functional! I use it for wark and put 20K on it per year. It is always comfortable and good fun to drive.

Worst Features

Feul mileage is rotten. Avereages 16.5 MPG. The auto trans tends is a knonw weakness of these vehicles, and Nissan should do more for those of us who own them.
