Oh, My Murano...
By Melissa on

2004 Nissan Murano SL AWD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

I absolutely love my Murano. I'm kind of bummed at the moment though, because apparently my timing chain needs to be replaced, and the shop I got it priced at is wanting to charge me a whopping $2,100... (And of course this happened a convenient 900 miles AFTER the warranty expired). Great car, but horrible fixing costs.. And of course every Nissan dealership I've ever been to has the most money-hungry people I've ever met.

Best Features

The look of the car, heated leather seats, the wonderful Bose system, reclining back seats, decent trunk space, and of COURSE the CVT transmission.. smooth riding :)

Worst Features

More cost-efficient repairs. Other cars can get timing belts replaced for 400 dollars. 2,100 DOLLARS?! Are you kidding me?? Also, CVT repairs are very very pricey.
