2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 6M)

Review

The vehicle is difficult to maneuver in
tight place and narrow driveways due to
the 18" wheels.

Visibility over the hood is nonexistant
(I'm 6'1") and it is next to impossible
to determine by visual cues just how
close one is to a forward object.
Outside mirrows obstruct driver's view
of curbs by blocking out about 50
degrees to the left and right of the
outside scene.

The adjustment control for the outside
mirrows is poorly located and not well
designed and is hidden by the steering
wheel.
Finally, the local gas milege is not
very good. I get about 16.5 MPG in
local driving. The EPA of 20 MPG on
MSRP is unrealistic.

good in snow.

2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 4A)

Review

We leased the SL with the Journey
package. The navi is awesome and the
screen is much easier to read than the
orange one. My wife and I test drove
several other cars (G35, Acura TL
amongst others). This car has the
most room front and back. Seats very
comfortable for long periods of time.
Extremely fun to drive.

Best Features

Body style separates this car from all the others. It's so much to drive we take the long way home every day. Navi is worth the $. Heated steering wheel.

Worst Features

Rear wheel drive with and AWD option.

Review

I have one question to ask if anyone
here knows it. When the air circulation
button is on, the A/C button
automatically comes on, then i try to
turn the A/C off, but it automatically
turns off the air circulation, so i can
NOT have both AC OFF and air
circulation ON, is it designed that way
or any other way to have AC OFF with
air circulation ON? Email me at
emanym73@yahoo.com if you have comment.
The car is definately outstanding among
the competetors within the price range.

Best Features

Driver preferred package is a good choice. BOSE, easy entry/exit, power folding mirrors, heated steeling wheel and seats, xenon head lights, 2 position memory. Besides these, sexy butt and pipes, of course engine no need to mention.

Worst Features

interior door handles definately need to be changed. Left panel side buttons can NOT be seen while driving. Yellow tail turning signal lights. Front leather seats seem lumpy. Optional skyview and truely openable. Leather for SE model should be standard.
