2001 Nissan Maxima SE 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5M)

This car is awesome, great styling and
amazing performace for a 4-door sedan.
But repairs are far more expensive
than they should be, and seem to
happen more than they should after
100,000 miles. The engine does not
have problems, it's still running
strong, but other random parts keep
breaking frequently.

Best Features

Quick 5-speed, nice hydraulic clutch, comfy leather seats, good even power distribution. Torquey and zippy at the same time.

Worst Features

Bose stereo probably sounded good new but had problems. Installed Sony aftermarket CD player quick. "Sport" suspension pretty loose, while still fun, recommend factory sway bars on future models.
