2000 Nissan Maxima SE 4dr Sedan

Have had this car for about 2.5 years now, and have been a very happy customer. bought it with 70k, now at 103k. so far, have replaced tires, exhaust rear section, complete rear brake assembly, MAF sensor, plugs. need to have my a/c recharged soon. they say you'll spend about $1000/yr on maintenance of any used car, which is pretty typical. so far, the car has been VERY reliable. it's a stylish people mover, but able to romp with the big boys of GM or Ford (similar domestic sedans don't come close to the maxima power-to-weight ratio). on cold days, she hesitates while accelerating for about a minute. they say i have a small gasket leak somewhere. i get a lot of compliments. good mpg

Best Features

beautiful vq motor - power comes on smooth - peppy throttle response(will not find this in any domestic) - great interior space and trunk space - really like interior dash design - nice plastics and materials - good gas mileage for the power - have had 0 electronics issues - nice exhaust note

Worst Features

power windows slow on cold days - dash creaks on cold days(i believe i have a loose wiring harness for the led clock) - transmission can be harsh on cold days - throttle hesitation on cold days - if you live anywhere besides the tundra that is michigan, you will love this car.
