If you're thinking about buying a '13 Altima, DONT
My husband bought our 2013 Altima in 2016 from a Nissan Dealership. Since then, this car has been in the shop at least 4 maybe 5 times (pretty bad that it's so many times that I can no longer keep count). The first three times, it was in the shop were within in month period. The transmission kept failing, and the car wouldn't start. The first time it started failing, I was driving on the highway and was unable to pick up speed. Was pretty sure I was going to die. Nissan's engineers looked at it and failed to fix it two times because the problem kept happening. I guess the third time was the charm. But they were happy to take our money each time just the same. One of the times, my husband was driving the car to the dealership to get the problem addressed and it stalled out while he was taking a left turn. He nearly got killed because a car was coming. The transmission, slow to pick up, picked up at the last second. Since then, the car has seemed fine aside from the minor annoyances, such as the bluetooth randomly not working, the screen going wonky, the speakers sounding bad, and the tire pressure being all over the place. Nissan gave us a car with paper-thin break pads (we totally could have died), a small hole in one of the tires, and a shitty transmission. Now, the car jerks back and forth when accelerating and decelerating (but only from time to time). Nissan was happy to drive it around, waste our gas, say nothing was wrong, and take another $250 for doing NOTHING. 2013 Nissan Altimas are LEMONS. DO NOT BUY ONE. It costs more in fixes than the car is worth. Also, screw Nissan too. Buy a car from anyone else.

Altima 2013 DISAPPOINTING
Purchased my Altima 2013 brand NEW. I would not buy it again. I had problems with electronic display. It came with horrible Dunlop tires. The main complain is the transmission hesitation at low speeds. On the highway at cruising speeds there is a hesitation that is not as perceptible unless you are paying attention. my guess is that the control module or the transmission computer is not keeping the gear on the correct setting base on the speed of the car, thus the sputtering and hesitation when you want to go. Nice looking car but looks is not the reason I needed a car. Like anything else, I am willing to work with dealer and mechanics for issues that any car could have, but the dealing with the dealer is a horrible experience. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn’t buy this car, and based on the dealer’s experience, I would never buy a Nissan just to avoid talking to the dealer.

Fine car - except for that lousy CVT
If having a transmission that refuses to do what you tell it to do won't bother you, then this is a fine sedan. For me, the CVT was so frustrating that I took it to the dealer multiple times and complained. And Nissan Customer Service (Corporate) told me (this is true) "Get used to it", and "we don't accept suggestions from owners".
