2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

We test drove it a few weeks ago, and that set the high water mark. Almost bought a Lexus IS 250 for $4k more, but the Altima coupe is much more fun to drive, plus has more rear legroom!

Best Features

Power. Handling. Styling. Price. Comfort. Features. Build quality. Torque steer virtually non-existent! CVT is way cool. 6spd is almost as fast as the previous 350Z! Altima coupe comes dangerously close to eclipsing the Infiniti coupe. (Oops! better keep my mouth shut.)

Worst Features

Offer beige leather with exterior colors other than electro blue and arrestme red. If you're preoccupied with fuel economy, get the 4cyl. Wheels are too narrow, and styling isn't flattering. Too much gap between tires and fender lips. Obnoxious grill emblem.
