Don’t get this car. Was pworfull in the past

2026 Toyota Camry XLE 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
I recently purchased the 2026 Toyota Camry XLE and I want to share my honest experience — because I wish someone had told me this before I bought it. The Good: The exterior design is genuinely stunning. Toyota nailed the look — sharp lines, aggressive stance, and a premium presence on the road. That’s honestly the only reason this car gets 2 stars instead of 1. The Bad — and there’s a … lot: 🔴 Build Quality is embarrassing for this price point. Within days of ownership, the splash shield underneath the car came loose and fell off. On a brand new vehicle. This is a basic quality control failure that should never happen on a $32,000+ car. 🔴 Interior finish doesn’t match the price. The materials inside feel cheap compared to what competitors offer at this price range. Toyota is charging premium prices for mid-grade quality. 🔴 The dealership experience was a nightmare. After the splash shield issue, the dealer’s response was dismissive and unprofessional. Zero accountability, zero urgency. This is not how you treat a customer who just spent tens of thousands of dollars. 🔴 Value for money? Simply not there. For what you pay, you can get better quality, better service, and better reliability from competitors. The Toyota name carries decades of reputation — but this car doesn’t live up to it. Bottom line: If you’re considering the 2026 Camry, think carefully. The exterior will turn heads, but the quality control issues and poor dealer support may leave you frustrated. Toyota — do better.
