2025 MINI Cooper S Iconic 2dr Hatchback (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 7AM)
I bought the 2025 Mini Cooper S 2-door with the Iconic Package and have put almost 8,000 miles on it. The ride is noticeably improved over the 2011 model I owned previously. There were some glitches with the software in the beginning that caused it to go into limp mode. It took two trips to the Mini dealership to finally get it resolved. But each time, I was given a loaner and the car … was picked up at my home and delivered once repaired. Some of the navigation on the information screen can be annoyingly cumbersome, but some recent software updates have resolved several issues. Overall, I am very satisfied with the car. It is ideal for local, around town driving and commuting. Occasional trips on the interstate are tolerable and surprisingly quiet at cruising speeds, but it is really built more for short commutes and easy parking. As an older person, I miss the simplicity of vintage cars without so much technical interface. But It's difficult to avoid nowadays.
