unique car that fills its own space

2026 Honda Prelude Hybrid 2dr Coupe (2.0L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid EVT)
I have an affinity for weird misunderstood things so of course this car appeals to me.
Naturally it was intriguing to see type r parts in a car but tuned entirely different. They managed comfort and punches above its weight. Extremely communicative in hard corners in any mode or the adaptive dampeners.
Driving this is a really fun unique feeling that people who appreciate attention to … detail outside of acceleration will fall in love with.
The speed is adequate. Faster and more efficient than my old turbo with instant response in acceleration. The car never struggles in any street driving context. It gets you to the speed you want to be at without a fuss.
Quality of the build is exactly what you would expect from a Japanese import. Nothing out of place, no rattles, no gaps, perfect lines through and through. Everything is thoughtful and intentional.
A little bit of interior upgrades over a civic. Ride quality is where the majority of the extra money went for this car.
Downsides
The abysmal backup camera. Unforgivable at this price point how low resolution it is with no option to upgrade
The back seats are for small children at best but I feel like it would be cruel to even put a kid back there but I knew that before purchasing.
