Upscale everything, but... the seats

2024 Genesis G70 2.5T 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 8A)
I got to extensively drive a brand new 2024 G70 as a rental vehicle for 3 days, taking it on a highway haul from DC to Boston and around the town with my family. I immediately prefered the looks and the interior to Audi A4 whivj i also was offered. The car design and the execution is state-of-the-art (I normally drive a lexus). Everything from the exterior to interior finishes, … ergonomics, even the smell are superb. The tech features are impressive, especially the driving assist. The fuel economy is not quite superb and spanned from 19 to around 30 mpg on a regular gas. However, there is one main reason i would not buy this vehicle: make sure that you drive the car for a bit more than a 20-minute test drive. The seats are stiff and poorly designed to distribute your body weight. Both me and my wife had back and bud pains after the 7 hour highway journey and shared the discomfort for the rest of the shorter daily trips around the town.
