Mechanically flawless elcectronically inept

2024 BMW X1 xDrive28i 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 7AM)
I have had this suv for 5 months. I traded a Tesla Y since highway commutes were challenging with supercharger availability. The vehicle with M sport is mechanically flawless and highway mileage is excellent at 34-36 mpg. The electronics are inept and I have owned 10 prior BMW and Audis. As cars rely more on electronics to control all car functions they have to be more integrated … and functional. BMW has always had problems with their electronics but this is the worst. Cons: Some examples: The stop start feature has always been annoying no less with this version. The electronics cannot hold a personal profile, wireless locks work intermittently, continually drops Sirius profiles/memory and the phone charger feature is not functional. When at BMW service it is performing to "specs." It will not charge an Apple iPhone 15 pro at all without a case. It will charge a Samsung at a rate of 1% in 8 minutes=specs. Compared to Tesla electronics I would give it a 4/10. Love driving the car but living with it is disappointing for the price point. BMW should do better by now or outsource their electronics.
