Used 2005 MINI Cooper Consumer Reviews
Fun? Yes...but aphathetic service...
I wanted a vehicle that was fun to drive and good on gas. The MINI S has delivered on those counts. But, the engine has developed a cold start stumble and nearly stalled in traffic the other day. BMW calls it a "low idle problem". The service department has "made a note of my concern", but would not look at the car. I've owned it 7 months, but I'm looking for another vehicle. One needs a thick skin at BMW/MINI Service departments. Sales departments are all sweetness and light, but the real truth can be found at service. Wait for the 2007 engine redesign if you want this car.
It's a BLAST!
My Cooper S is a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters, new this year. It is an absolute blast to drive! Excellent handling, great brakes and a killer Harman-Kardon sound system! And, it's so cool looking. This is my second Mini, my first being a 2002 Cooper with CVT automatic. That one was great, but the S model is definitely "The Bomb"!

Awesome Cooper
Earlier model years may have gotten a bad rap on quality of build. However the 2005 model is flawless. Fun to drive, great gas mileage, and roomier than you'd think.
MINI's: THe New Milenium
This car is not only fuel efficent, it's fun to drive. I drive my kids around and they are extremely comfortable. It's got power and speed; it makes you want to keep driving! I recommned this car for anyone who is looking for a safe, reliable, fun and cute car to drive! Let's motor!
Wonderful Car
I recently bought a new Mini Cooper S blue with a white roof, and absolutely love it! It's great, you can park anywhere, you get great gas mileage, and you can go as fast as you want and get there just as fast. Fun Fun Fun and more Fun. I would highly recommend this car unless you live somewhere that gets a lot of snow, then a nice SUV might do the trick.
