2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class SLK230 Kompressor 2dr Roadster (2.3L 4cyl S/C 6M)

I've had this car for about 2 years.
Trouble with noisy cabin air filter
(vibrated at high speeds) and the
drivers door gasket. Fixed under
warranty in the 2nd month.

The clutch/shifter a bit notchy but
smoothed out around 7k. 29 mpg with
commutes. Curvy roads are a blast.
Top down in seconds.
First gear a bit short, taking off from
the light hits with 2nd. 3rd is a
delight. 6th allows it to stretch
out. I only wish there were more
opportunities to let it run.

Great comments from everyone. I often
hear "cool car" when cruising with the
top down. Valet parking always leads
to a discussion about the car.

Best Features

Handling, economy, performance and top down when you need it in one package. 6th makes it a good commuter too.

Worst Features

Lumbar support would help, but I have back troubles.
