G500 EI Review

2003 Mercedes-Benz G-Class G500 4WD SUV (5.0L 8cyl 5A)

This my third high-end SUV, and it is
my best by far. The unique styling is
very eye catching. All of the
creature comforts offered in the G500
are comparable to those of the S and
CL classes. The comfort seat makes
long drives or sitting through
protracted traffic jams a very
comfortable experience. Couple the
seats with the upgraded sound system
and can almost shut out the rest of
the world. The all-terrain tires can
offer a fairly stiff ride, but that
can be remedied by replacing them with
a softer, wider tire that is more
suited for highway driving.

Best Features

The navigation is my most favorite feature. The next two would be the upgraded Harmon Karden sound system and the comfort seats.

Worst Features

If I were to change anything on the G500, I would increase the legroom for the rear seat passengers and add 50 more horsepower to the engine.
