2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E320 Rwd CDI 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl Turbodiesel 5A)

Remarkably quiet, incredibly powerful
and fun to drive. This is my first new
Mercedes, bought with the idea it will
have to last several years. I don't
think I'll be disappointed. I'm 6'6''
tall and look forward to long trips in
this car. It's that comfortable and a
joy to drive.

Best Features

The CDI diesel represents an incredible technological marriage of noise control, torque and fuel economy. The car is solid and fun to drive. I must have a "new generation" model as there are two cup holders (though small) for the driver and front seat passenger.

Worst Features

The fuel fill opening needs to be enlarged. It works fine for a one inch automotive-sized delivery nozzle, but does not accomodate a 1.5 inch nozzle found at most truck-oriented diesel pumps. This is a problem on long trips. Steering stiff at low speeds/panel controls confusing
