Loads of fun, but at what price?
By Speedmaster on

2002 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C32 AMG 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl S/C 5A)

This car is fun to drive, but a sturdy
performance car it's not. Nothing but
problems since day one of ownership.
First the suspension had to be
reinstalled, as the car wasn't level.
Next, all of the brakes and tires had
to be replaced due to severe
vibrations at speed. Then the
supercharger had to be replaced due to
excessive noise. To top that off, a
couple of interior cosmetic items had
to be replaced as well. All of this
under warranty of course, but the
depreciation of this car is
outrageous. I guess that's the price
you pay.

Best Features

Great styling outside and creature comforts inside. I especially like the steering wheel controls.

Worst Features

Build a V6 that can dish out the power without a supercharger, ala BMW M3. Add to that brakes and tires that can stand up to the task of handling this beast.
