1998 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C280 4dr Sedan

Bought this used a few months ago -
paid $8500 (vs. NADA book value of
$13k) for a white w202. Only repair
was new tires and alignment. Car
drives like a dream - stable at any
speed, great low-end power from the V6
and good acceleration on the highway.
This is the 5th MB my family has owned
and my 2nd. We've always been
impressed with their products and now I
remember why.

Best Features

Steering (best compromise between power- assist and feel of the road) is first rate. Great low-end power; getting up to speed on the highway is a dream and it doesn't sound like the engine is working hard at all. Comfortable suspension without too much body roll. Roomy trunk.

Worst Features

Better cupholders. In-dash CD (will be replacing head unit with an aftermarket - Pioneer or Sony). Instrument panel looks like my 1972 220.
