Runs great, fun to drive. I think the best Benz ever made. It has 145K miles but runs like brand new car. I don't have any problem with it since I bought it from old lady who retired from the Library of Congress.

Great car. Solid, safe, well designed. Only thing less than perfect is the MB air conditioning system. It's never quite the right temp... Repair can get extensive and expensive, but are very infrequent. Averages out to be reasonable car to own.

I have loved my Benz. Yes, the 4-matic is sensitive and requires maintenance and a few repairs, but this car has POWER and you really feel SAFE, which is important when I carry my precious cargo(5 yr old child)! I installed a K & N air filter a few years ago which increased the MPG to AVG. 21-22! Not bad for a car of this size and year... I also hear the 1998 E320 is a great wagon...
