2003 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I've had my Tribby for a few months
now. It's been great. I don't get the
complaints about the shifter or road
noise. Mine is fine. I love the
feature that allows you to roll up the
windows after you've turned off the
engine. Gas milange has been 20 mpg,
insurance cost low, great room and
driving. Get one. When I bought mine,
the Tribby was the better deal over
it's sister the Ford Escape (better
financing/rebate and warranty).

Best Features

You know the routine...shut the car off take out the key...Doh! You forgot to roll up the window! No problem with the Tribby. It allows you a grace period to roll up the windows AFTER you remove the key.

Worst Features

Softer elbow pad on the door. Fold flat front passenger seat would help.

2003 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

we have had a great experience with
this vehicle, i was impressed with the
price and quality. it is the first
mazda i ever owned but the third for my
husband. it is a great suv for a small
family needing that extra room, more
room than a car. i think that it is
comfortable, sporty and gets you to
point a to b saftely. i dont feel like
i am going to flip over and it is wide
enough to give you that comfort of
being stable, such a smooth ride, i
love my sunroof and the hitch, the kids
really enjoy it, it is a vehicle
suitable for anyone in the family to
drive

Best Features

the stereo is the best. it is perfect for a fun day driving with the windows down and playing the radio load and it having enough power to still sound good

Worst Features

work on making it more quite ride , the vehicle is very noisey, you can hear the wind ect. threw the doors or windows

2003 Mazda Tribute SUV ES-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Exceeded expectations in quality and
value compared to other brands. Two
disapointments. No power door lock
switch on front passenger door and poor
mileage for V6. 22 will never be
achieved but still hoping for 17+ in
town. Great 6CD changer and power to
spare. Very good ride given relatively
short wheel base. Two-way rear
door/window opening very convenient.
Great value for the $.

Best Features

See above.

Worst Features

Improve mileage to you achieve advertisements! Put a switch for door locks on passenger door.

2003 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I accually bought my Tribute in 2001.
Except for some manufacturing defects
(ford) it has been a great SUV. I put
alot of miles on it every year and so
far it it takes me anywhere I need to
go and is fun getting me there.

Best Features

I love the power and for a SUV it handles pretty well once I changed the Firestone tires to Cooper's.

Worst Features

The SUV needs better tires for handling. It also needs better QA at the factory. Oh and a CD player that reads all formats.

2003 Mazda Tribute SUV LX-V6 Fwd 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I drove several SUV's before deciding
on the Tribute. I chose it over the
Escape because of the exterior styling
was more pleasing to the eye. This is
the only car I have ever had that I
would buy another one of. Trust me I
am a very picky person!

Best Features

Exterior styling, 6-cd option with Sunroof, peppy engine

Worst Features

Stereo controls on steering wheel, when in drive the gear stick blocks some of the radio controls.
