2001 Mazda Tribute ES-V6 4WD 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

My wife loves to drive it because of
its get up and go. Drives as smooth
and comfortable as a sports car. After
30,000 miles I took it in to replace
pads. I was surprised when the rotors
were worn down to nothing. Cost me
$400. I was always curious why this car
generated so much brake dust. At
45,000 miles, the car just stalled. I
read other Tribute drivers experienced
this. For the most part, we love this
SUV...now if we can just get rid of
that incessant rattle in the hatch.

Best Features

Quick acceleration, handling, exterior style, leg room, leather seats, 6 disc CD, and warranty

Worst Features

gear shifter position, gas mileage, road noise, and please fix brake rotor wear with original pads...I dont mind spending the money to replace pads just dont like the cost of replacing rotors which should last 60,000-80,000 miles
