1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata 2dr Convertible

This is my wifes little tic tac, as
she lovingly refers to it. Bought it
from some guy who had just changed the
engine since the crank went out. Very
common 1990 problem, however engines
are PLENTIFUL especially through
japan. Paid 3k with tax and license.
Very hard to find one cheaper in as
good condition. Handling is top notch
and keeps up with more expensive
sports coups with ease. One gripe,
power, or the lack there of.
Suggestion? yes, buy a greddy turbo
kit for $1100. It'll add about 40hp
and make one HECK of a difference.
Engine is bulletproof once crank is
fixed and will run 200k miles without
breaking a sweat.

Best Features

Great car for the money, TONS of aftermarket goodies. Easy to work on and maintain. Deffinetly a drivers car.

Worst Features

Already improved in the 94 and newer with the 1.8l making life a bit easier with more torque and hp's to go about your day to day's with.
