Used 2003 Mazda MPV Consumer Reviews
Nice van for the family
I've been across the USA in the van, with my wife and 3-children. There was plenty of room for our stuff. It was a comfortable drive and ride. There are some creature comforts that could be added, based upon what we're used to with our other vehicle, a VW Jetta with the works. But all in all, its a nice van, equal to the Honda van in performance, handling and comfort, and, with a sticker price comparable to the Honda, about $3,500 less in price (rebate applied.) I highly recommend it.
Never again, never Mazda!
Absolutely the worst vehicle I've ever owned. Purchased with 84000 miles, at 88000 the transmission blows up (luckily it was under warranty). Two weeks after trans is replaced, the famous ill-designed PCV hose has to be replaced (not under warranty, cost $300). Now it refuses to run in the rain - water apparently getting into the other famously ill-designed item: coil packs have a vent that allows water to get into pack and interfere with spark! Do yourself a favor and avoid Mazda products - I can guarantee I will avoid like a plague!

Zoom Zoom - and it's a van??
We just purchased a Midnight Blue Mica MPV LX with the following accessories: Traction control, side airbags, 4 season pkg, luggage rack for under 20G. With 2,000 cash back, nice standard features and dealers willing to go below invoice price, You can't go wrong with the MPV. No buyer remorse here. Did I mention - 5 star crash ratings.
