2003 Mazda MPV LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

This is the second Mazda Van we had.
We had the 2000 and the 2003.
the 2003 Has a better engine and
16 in tires which give it a better
ride.this van is good for a small
fam.

Best Features

Fold down rear seat and the middle two seats come out very easy.

2003 Mazda MPV LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Its not as quite on trips as I would
like for it to be,and on same long
trip, seats were not comfortable.
Drive well plenty of pick up for a van.

Asked if was fun to drive?
IT'S A VAN, not a sports car!

Best Features

easy access to controls on steering wheel.

Worst Features

Gear shift handle sticks out and cover the radio and AC controls. Seats are not comfortable for long trips. Needs more than one cell phone plug in, location of plug in positioned poorly.

2003 Mazda MPV LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Traded an ailing Buick LeSabre on an
03 LX. Overall my wife and I enjoy it
and are very pleased with the purchase.

Best Features

"Tumble Under" third row seat.

Worst Features

Needs deeper cup holders, auto door locks when the car is put into gear, more legroom for the driver.

Vehicle

2003 Mazda MPV ES 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

The handling and comfort are superb. It
is the most practical of other minivans
and luxury cars I have ever owned
including my 1998 Chrysler Town and
Country. I am experiencing about 20
miles per gallon during city driving
break-in period.

Best Features

Ease of entry and exit. Comfort and visibility. Easy loading of groceries in rear.

Worst Features

Change position of lever to adjust steering wheel from beneath the stalk to the side as on the Chrysler and Dodge. It is difficult to manage while wearing heavy outer clothing.

2003 Mazda MPV LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

We purchased the MPV approximately
three weeks ago. At first, we thought
the van would be too small for our
three growing girls. We test drove
some used vans. Also looked at the
Nissan Quest but decided a little too
much money for what we wanted. We
decided to test drive the MPV.
Instantly, we felt very comfortable and
realized this would be adequate for our
family. We were hooked. The van rides
very smooth and the features included
are great. Would recommend looking
into the MPV.

Best Features

Sliding doors, moon roof (its huge), smooth drive, alot of extra's for the money spent. Doesn't feel top heavy or feel like you are driving a truck. The second row passenger windors are nice and go down giving more air flow.

Worst Features

The gear shift needs to be shortened. In the way of the controls on dash. DVD player should not be an option but be included in some of the higher models of the vans. The wing windows should have an automated switch up front to open up.
