2002 Mazda MPV LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

With the addition of the 3.0 liter 200 ft-lb 200 HP 5 speed drive train Mazda has effectively resolved the power versus performance concerns associated with the 2000-2001 models. Passing at highway speeds and performance on steep terrains is excellent. Handling is crisp and nimble. Call this the anti-mini-van.

Best Features

Tumble under third row seats, dash design, side by slide second row seats, second row seat windows can be lowered. Excellent handling and responsive drive train. Standard stereo is very good bettering those offered in Honad Odysey and Toyota Sienna.

Worst Features

Relocate cruise control stalk, interferes with driver knee, modify cup holder to more securely hold hot coffee cups in place. Add adjustable reading lights and convienience outlet for second row seating.
