2002 Mazda MPV Minivan ES 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Have owned many cars and vans. Mazda
might not be first brand to think of,
but should be. Fold down seat (like
Odyssey), styling, comfort (I'm 6/3"),
handling, RELIABILITY, not a single
issue with any feature or accessory. I
just added after market DVD player for
kids. Fully loaded with all upgrades
this is thousands less than
competition. A great buy.

Best Features

Elec sliding doors, fold down and in rear seat, ease of adjusting front:back and side:side all rear seats, crossover styling, handling.

Worst Features

All wheel drive and 250hp (turbo?)

2002 Mazda MPV Minivan LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I think this van is pretty to look at
but not much else given teh $$ you pay
to own it there aren't a lot of fun
features and if you think about cutting
costs by not having the higher end
AC/Heat package because it is a small
van think again, it takes forever to
cool down or warm up this van. The
vents under the front seat are not
large enough or powerful enough to
control the temp. It is very small, can
be very cramped in the front with
average size adults in both seats.
Overall good handling but definitly
sacrifice space and comfort in this van.

Best Features

rear windows go down

Worst Features

increase the power of the vents to warm/cool the back of the van or else add additional vents under the middle seats

2002 Mazda MPV Minivan LX 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

Review

It's a great van. Fuel efficiency could
be better. After 20k miles, it's still
very solid. Factory Dunlop tires are
crap. Coolant reservoir seems to
overflow a bit since new. Easy to
maintain (mainly fluid changes).

Best Features

rolldown windows, tumble down rear.

Worst Features

smaller gear handle, better tires, fuel efficiency.
