Fun Car to drive on the back roads

2003 Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege New 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)


This car is great for running around
on some back roads and everyday
driving.The suspension will make the
leakest driver a good driver.There are
only a few things that should have
never made it into production.The
intercooler seems to be a little to
small and with the plastic ic piping,
heat soak becomes a problem.This will
be felt on everyday driving and even
more so when the car is pushed.The pcm
has its bugs also and the reflash only
helps a little bit.The all Kenwood
stereo system is great for the person
that likes clear music and doesnt need
to share it with others.With just a
little more power this car would be

Best Features

I love the handling of this car. The look, feel, and finish of the this car is great! The kenwood system is great.

Worst Features

I would improve the pcm programming, the intercooler and piping, and I would have liked to see more power.
