2010 Mazda 6 Sedan i Touring 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6M)
Have had car now for three months. Nice car to drive. Had a manual 1988 626 previously for 23 years and that car, even old, gave much better mileage (27 city, 35 hwy) than this car; probably due to all the added built in features on 6. One cannot choose options as in old days. Performance ok now, cannot judge reliability after 3 months--maybe in 3 years. Appearance is good, trunk nice and big. Could only get black interior with manual and shows dirt quickly; Mazda should provide more interior options with this style. Seats are hard, lumbar feature not as useful for me as my old 626, wrong position. Good car with advanced features but old 626 was much sportier with better gas mileage
Performance, exterior appearance, trunk size
Seats hard, choices of interior color, lumbar support poor and needs to be improved. Black plastic is chintzy looking. Poor gas mileage
2010 Mazda 6 Sedan i Touring Plus 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 5A)
Bought 2010 i touring Mazda 6 in Jan. 2010 and put 12,500 miles on it. Traded it in Oct. 2010 for another 2010 Mazda 6. Same color, same engine 2.5 4 cyl auto only difference was that I moved up to i touring plus and with added leather seating. Hows that for a 12,000 test drive. Love the car. You think.
Body design, ride, handling, comfort of seats, ease of controls, great pick up on 2.5 4 cyl engine, fuel economy, trunk space and blind side monitoring.
All models have power door locks, but had to move up to i tourning plus to get automatic door locks when put in gear or unlock when put in park. This should be standard on all models.
2010 Mazda 6 Sedan i Grand Touring 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 5A)
The car looks and rides great. Visibility is excellent and has all the bells and whistles; blue tooth, blind spot monitoring, Bose, heated leather, etc. What the car needs is a little more zoom in its zoom (another 20 or 30 HP would be real nice Overall - a good choice!
Blue tooth, Bose system, blind spot monitoring.
Up the power by 20-30 hp and it's a real winner
2010 Mazda 6 Sedan i Sport 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6M)
We got this car to replace our Corolla with something safer. It's been a great car for us so far. The engine, while not super powerful, is very smooth and loves to rev. Between the engine and the close-ratio 6-speed you can always find the power band. I was never lacking in power up to 11,000 feet on mountain passes, a feat my corolla stumbled on. The handling is wonderful, very composed and confident on twisty roads, but the ride is very smooth as well. It looks great, and the interior and trunk are enormous. The factory stereo is probably above average, the seats are grippy without being constrictive.Too early to notice any repair issues, engine seems to be getting stronger as it breaks in
Steering Wheel Controls Ride/handling Slick Shifter Tons of room Huge trunk
5th and 6th Gear too short Cubby in front of shifter too small Fuel Economy could be better Sunglass cubby too small
2010 Mazda 6 Sedan i Sport 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 5A)
I originally wanted to purchase the Mazda 5 but my wife wanted a Sedan not a van. So I went with the Mazda 6 and so far I really like it. This is the first Mazda that I have purchased. It rides very smooth, looks very sporty and has pretty good pick up for a 4 cylinder car. The rear seat can sit 3 adults comfortably. The Mazda 6 is an excellent value for the price.
Very large trunk for a sedan. Very roomy and stylish interior and exterior.
The gas mileage could be better for a 4 cylinder
