The most reliable Range Rover is the CX9!

I bought the Kuro (carbon) edition here in Canada. Excellent vehicle. Zero issues in 18 months of care free driving. Handles excellent, sporty and practical. Very stylish. Rear third row is really for kids ((I never use it and it is always folded down). Reasonably priced when compared to the likes of Range Rover, BMW etc. The infotainment is a bit slow on turning on the car and can be a bit clunky but otherwise it’s fine. The black interior surfaces are dust magnets. Would definitely buy another Mazda. I was an Honda guy, but Mazda have surpassed them. Zoom, Zoom.

We got our Mazda back in June of 2021, we loved all the features although we dont use them as much but any how i feel its time to write a review about how my suv has performed. We fell in love with our Suv because it was the only 4 cyl vehicle with a 3rd row, everyone else had a 6 cyl suv and well the kia sorrento was out of the question due to shortages and Covid. Anyhow, my suv has about 67k miles, yes we drive a lot, and so i tried to change the spark plugs and i guess the dealer does not have anything as of 4/ 21/23 and I have also noticed that the automatic folding mirrors began to fail, so now only one of them folds properly, on top of that I also noticed the burning of engine oil, yes we top it off but after another few thousand miles its back to low, and no there are no leaks because I have a pan under my suv, so I must have an extra container of engine oil. To be honest, it has been a great Suv but i think its time for something new and for the price we paid, about $55k, I am certain I can find something much better with a panoramic sunroof and more engine power for less money.

Luxury alternative - $20k less expensive

Traded in a 2018 lease of CX-9 Touring with Premium. The signature is so much nicer and the 360 camera, heated and cooled seats and overall quality and design compete with luxury models like Acura MDX, Lincoln, Volvo and yes even BMW, Audi and Mercedes (I've owned or leased most if not all of these brands - right now our other car is a Mercedes). The car itself is great but where Mazda fails is the dealer experience. The sales process is like a used car deal and the support falls short. When I picked up my car, it was missing a bumper black cap and a second key. 4 weeks later I'm still waiting. But to put $20k in my pocket, I'll put up with it. The car is well worth the price.

Car is an excellent all around SUV , across the board it excels. I would recommend spending time with the car salesman getting a thorough understanding on how the infotainment system works.

Not a better low key luxury vehicle for the money!!! Smooth quiet ride, and drives great in the snow.

Great Car w two Glaring Annoyances

The 2021 CX-9 Signature is a beautiful car. The red paint is incredible. The captains chairs, front and back, the wood trim, interior/exterior lighting are all high end. The new grille really stands out as well. It dampens road/engine noise very nicely. It’s other features carried over from previous years are still top-notch: iActive cruise control, lane departure, head’s up display, and more. The infotainment display has been enlarged with much improved resolution. A lot of aspects of the vehicle can be customized by the owner such as interior lighting, turn signals and headlights. The car is fun to drive. The new paddle shifters are fun, but I rarely use them. I find them awkward to use when turning - which isn’t an issue with one hand free to operate a shift lever. But that isn’t a complaint. Why does this review get three stars? Two reasons: 1) The infotainment is always on and it is annoying especially when starting the engine remotely after forgetting to turn the volume down (hitting mute before stoping the engine doesn’t work. It comes on unmuted next time you start the car). This is incredibly annoying. I don’t know why other reviewers don’t comment on this. So many features are customizable but you can’t turn off the radio (or at least let it stay muted until the owner chooses to unmute)? (Update: I’ve since discovered that it can be turned off in the “Source” menu. I’m glad to know this, but it takes several steps to navigate there. What ever happened to “On/Off” switches?) The outside rear view mirrors are not programed with the driver’s seat position. How does this continue to get past the designers? This is a Signature edition car? Related issue: If you start the car remotely and then unlock it using your fob to get in, the engine stops (OK) but the custom seat position is disabled.?? I’m sure this has something to do with the added level of security (engine shuts down when opening the door). I wonder if the same thing happens with a Lexus?

The vehicle is fantastic...except for the tires.

The reason for a 4 star is that all 4 tires are cupped at 34000 km (not miles) .and my vehicle was served by the dealer as per schedule Including wheel allinement and rotation. That is less than halve the km I expected. And my dealer said oh well that happens sometime.
