New CX-5 Rocks, so far

2013 Mazda CX-5 Touring 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl 6A)

Hi all. Just got a Sky Blue AWD CX-5 Touring a couple days ago. No moon roof or Tech package.
I love it so far. Handling is just like everyone is saying. Acceleration is good enough for me. It is a little sluggish on hills as others have said but guess that is the trade off for fuel efficiency. Havent used a tank yet but am curious to see where it comes out. No regrets at all. Love it

Best Features

It looks great. Great handling. Lots of room. I like the blind spot sensor. Saved me today! Backup camera is great, better than in my toyota sienna!

Worst Features

Wish they had a manual version of the higher trim levels. I noticed the HD radio volume changes randomnly while driving (little bit of fading off and on). Think it is an HD thing and need to play with it more. Also, leather bound shifter knob which is supposed to be standard was not on it. I did see that on other Tourings I looked at so I guess it was an error. Dealer is looking into it for me. Also with there was a Bose speaker option with no moon roof but the regular speakers seem pretty good so far.

That 'fading' you hear is the audio systems noise compensation feature. It tries to make it so that the relative volume stays consistent.
