1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC 2dr Coupe

First off, this is not a car for
everyone. If you want a perfectly
reliable car you never have to think
about, buy a Honda. If you want
power, style, luxury, and value, buy a
Mark VIII. If you love cars or have
some mechanical ability, you can fix
many problems yourself for a
reasonable price.

I average 22.2mpg in mixed
city/highway driving. I had a worn
spark plug boot cause a misfire ($4
part, replaced it myself) and a seat
heater went out (not fixed yet).
Otherwise the car has been rock-solid

If you're willing to do a little
upkeep, you will love the Mark VIII.

Best Features

4.6L DOHC V8 (290hp 290tq), rear wheel drive, super comfortable interior, data display (fuel economy, trip meters, etc), $41,000 car for a fraction of the price.

Worst Features

An aftermarket warranty is worth looking into to handle any major problems (or put that money aside just in case). Ford, bring the Mark series back!!!
