Review

Do yourself a favor and read all of the
boards on the web that discuss the
awful and dangerous transmission.
There are severe hesitations and
failure to engage when accelerating.
There are also reports at www.dot.gov
of this problem. Just do a search on
the vehicle.

2004 Lexus RX 330 SUV 4dr Fwd SUV (3.3L 6cyl 5A)

Review

The RX330 reigns supreme in the kingdom
of SUVs. From its design to the level
of comfort that it offers, the RX330's
supremacy among SUVs is not a matter
for debate. It's the best mid-size
luxury SUV in its class

Best Features

rain sensing wipers, photosensitive headlights

Worst Features

I would like to see some improvements in the fuel consumption area

2004 Lexus RX 330 SUV 4dr AWD SUV (3.3L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Interior vibrates if the car hits a
bump on the road, arm rest is to
high,which couses disaliantment of
vertabreas and pain in the neck, it
also very firm and narrow, which can
cause ulnar nerve injuary. Safer not to
use. Second safe braking pedal
positoned in the left lower coner can
cause injury to the ankle in case of
accident, impossible to rlax left leg
under it, hits the fron serfice of
lower extrimity. Climate control when
put in "Auto" blows wind into the face.
If you change settings you will
cancell "auto".

Best Features

Soft pleasant ride, comfortable seet with the exception for arm rest.

Worst Features

Safety-brake pedal should be reposition (hitting left ankle, can cause injury). Arm-rest should be lower or adjustable, softer and wider to prevent ulnar nerve injury. Auto setting for climate control should nor blow air into the face.

Review

What a joy to purchase a vehicle that
brings back the joy and pride of a new
vehicle. My wife hasn't slept in two
nights from her joy.

Best Features

Comfort, quality. Ride is excellent.

Worst Features

Please keep making this model so we can buy another in the future.

Review

I had the prior model, the RX 300. I
liked the prior model so well that I
contemplated buying another one just
prior to the introduction of the RX
330. I am glad that I did not. The
330 is a big improvement: more power,
better gas mileage, smoother ride,
smaller turning radius, more features
such as the power rear door opener.

Best Features

Both dual temperature controls and dual adjustable seat warmers; my wife particularly likes the power rear door opener. The rain sensor windshield wipers are more useful then I would have thought.

Worst Features

The design of the RX 330 provides less visibility to the rear then the RX 300. Another small item is that the lapsed time setting of the information gauge always resets when the engine is turned off. It would be nice if one could turn off the reset.
