Used 2002 Lexus IS 300 Sedan Consumer Reviews
bread and butter of sport sedans
Got rid of my VW Jetta GLX and got this. No more ridiculously expensive parts -- this is Japanese reliability and price with German performance. Who can beat that???
Satisfied
The center console does not have an arm rest, fortunately those who purchased or plan to purchase the 2002 model will have the center armrest to enjoy.

Expectations
Meets or exceeds all expectations of quality and driving experience. Fantastic roading handling and comfort for a car of this size. Don't see many of these on the road (at least where we live) and brings a lot of positive comments. Agree with other postings: FUN to drive.
Exactly Fits The Bill
The car is a blast to drive, I love the 5 speed and the power to get around just about anything I want to. The styling is edgy enough to keep the Buick buyers away, and sedated enough to be take seriously. The back seat is perfect for carting around friends in luxury while I enjoy the trip.
Nice all around
I bought this car used with 76k miles on it. Traded in a Mitsu SUV and I was on a budget. I found this car for under $11k. Car is very fun to drive with quick acceleration and great handling. Ride is a little stiffer than what I'm used to, but hey I went from an SUV to a compact sport sedan. Auto tranny shifts nicely, the interior is nice and has an easy layout.
