Used 2004 Lexus ES 330 Consumer Reviews
Expectations Met
A new job means a 120-mile daily commute. While a loyal, long term BMW driver, my M3 and Z4 are not really suitable for this kind of motoring so I went in search of a comfortable cruiser. Looked at the new 5-series, Merc C and E class, Audi A6 and more. The ES330 offered an amazing combination of smooth ride, luxury, fuel economy, features, price, size and safety. If you like to 'drive' a car, forget Lexus. I bought the Z4 in favor of the sterile SC430. If you just want to motor in quiet luxury, Lexus probably has your car.
The right choice
Shopped the whole spectrum and came back to Lexus, again. The car exudes their motto "relentless pursuit of perfection", interior is the height of luxury, new 3.3/225hp has the power, exterior is contemporary. What a beautiful car to look at and so smooth and quiet to drive. Top-of-the-line material in every corner. Navigation/ Mark Levinson is the icing on the cake.

"A MUST BUY OR LEASE"
MY THIRD ES SINCE 2002...CAN'T BEAT THE LUXURY 2002,2003,2004...LOVE THEM!
Transmission shifts poorly in ES330
First the good things: This car has a superbly designed interior with real wood accents that is beautiful. It rides very smoothly, and is extremely quiet. The ML stereo and GPS navigation sytsem are incredible. However, this car is spoiled by a poorly shifting transmission. When punching the gas pedal, there's frequently a 1-1.5 second delay before the engine accelerates and the transmission engages. This unpredictability makes the car frustrating to drive in heavy traffic.
Lexus Es330
Sedan review, This car is superior to any we test drove in handling, comfort and safety.
