Great vehicle with untapped potential

2003 Lexus ES 300 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A)

The new body is very nice, however it
resembles the Camry too much. Fit and
finish are suburb. Night time
instrument panel is magnificent. The
car is full of little conveniences like
the drivers dead pedal, tilt out coin
holder, compass in the rearview mirror,
auto dimming mirrors, overhead grips
for driver and passenger, and wippers
that can be pulled out of the way for
complete windshield cleaning.

Best Features

Fit/finish. Improved seat cushioning. Quiteness. Solid, protected feeling. Abundance of safety features. When feeling frisky, shift selection gate allows for driving as if it were a stick shift. Auto door locks. One touch open/close for all windows and moon roof.

Worst Features

Horsepower/torque to 260 area. More controls on steering wheel. Better daylight instrument view. Allow coin holder to store gas cards, etc. More steering resistance at speed. Drop miles to go,etc.readout. 17" wheels. Elec.tilt/tel & increase up position for easier entry/exit.
