My husband & I had a wonderful purchasing experience at this dealership with our sales person Jeanette Fernandez. She was warm, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and responsive in addressing all our questions & concerns. When the first car we purchase had all of sorts of warning lights come up 1 day after the purchase we notified Jeanette and she promptly arranged for us to bring in the car for diagnosis and arranged a loaner. The car turned out to have an issue which would require a soft wear update which wouldn't be available for at least 1 month. My husband & I refused to keep the car with this big defect in it and our decision was respected by both Jeanette & the manager of the dealership. They promptly found a new car for us and arranged for everything to be transferred to the new car and despite a slightly higher price on the new vehicle they graciously agreed to honor the price we originally paid. Our purchase experience with Jeanette and the staff at Lexus of Tampa Bay is the best one we have experienced at this dealership. We have purchased other cars there in the past but this experience was the best by far. Never got a reply from the message sent through Edmunds. Called the dealership and got Sales. A gentleman answered who turned out not to be a gentleman. I asked about the Lexus LC 500 advertised. Gave me the runaround then asked my name and number so he could go check on the car. I said I would hold. He then proceeded to tell me he had to check out anyone they sold to to make sure they were local that they wouldn’t sell to anyone not local and that he had to check me out. I told him I would hold while he checked on the car. Extremely rude. Very surprised Lexus has someone like that as a Dealer. I will report to Lexus.
