Buyers should be aware that the maintenance cost for the Range Rovers are huge. Count on replacing brakes and tires every 20 to 30k miles. I am told by my dealership that this "is to be expected."

Duh, It's a heavy vehicle. I didnt get 20-30k out of my honda accord. The compound Land Rover uses on their pads is softer thats why it hauls this 2.5 ton vehicle to a stop like a car. I've owned 2 Rovers if this is all you're complaining about buy a BMW where the pads are included in the warranty else buy a lesser vehicle. Giving it one star because the pads need to be replaced is more like a gripe than an actual issue.
