Land Rover LR2 handles everything you throw at it
This my first car I bought after completing school -- It has great off road capabilities, drives amazing on the free way -- The costs I have incurred are regular maintenance like oil change, air filter changes and coolant change. This maybe smaller SUV than other land rovers -- but it has all terrain modes that expensive models offer. The only con I can think of is that even though it has Bluetooth - it does not allow to play music from your phone, it can only be used for making calls.

I have had 18 cars in my life. My 2010 lr2 hse is the best of all of them. A pleasure to drive. Always runs great now has 108,000 miles. Just got new tires, oil changes and just runs great.
new LR2 experience so far
My new LR2 has 230 miles on it.I knew the day after I purchased it that it was ergonomically all wrong for me. The arm rest is very thin and cuts the circulation no matter what height or arm position. If you put the arm rest up there is no where to put your arm. What is worse is that in the up position, the metal adjustment screw, (about 2" x 3")sits inches from the right temple area of your head. Scary. The seat positions are limited, inability to angle front of drivers seat cuts leg circulation. It rattles alot and "ka-thunks" in several areas, over every little bump. I sure hope it has good off road ability to make up for the lack of comfort and road noise.
