2004 Land Rover Freelander HSE 4dr AWD SUV (2.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Great fully-loaded SUV if you're not
willing to cough up the $40,000 for the
X3. I've had it for about 8 months and
still haven't had any problems. Love
it!

Best Features

Heated windshield is excellent. Love the rear window going down and the Premium Sound System is amazing!

Worst Features

Location of cup holders could be better, and the crank to adjust the seats is annoying too.

2004 Land Rover Freelander SE3 2dr AWD SUV (2.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I moved to Colorado from Louisiana this
summer and decided to trade in my little
sports car for a more snow-worthy
vehicle. For me, a single guy with no
kids, the Freelander SE3 was perfect:
inexpensive but unique, fun to drive,
agile on road and off, practical, and
(best of all) providing an open air
driving experience. I am very happy so
far with the SE3.

Best Features

Removable top panels, unique styling, fun to drive, all-weather capabilities.

Worst Features

More power, better gas mileage, a lockable glove box.

Vehicle

2004 Land Rover Freelander SE 4dr AWD SUV (2.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Extremely pleased with the vehicle. Fun
to drive, great comfort in seating,
handling fine (not truck-like) for an
SUV! Dealer treatment, though have the
cheaper of the LR's, is exceptional!
Good pick-up and acceleration, good
braking, and I find I have plenty of
cargo space for my needs! Nothing to
dislike about this vehicle--so far!

Best Features

Favorite features are heated leather seats, the automatic "roll down" cargo door window, the audio system controls on steering wheel, look of the vehicle, feeling of safety I have when in it, audio system, sun roof..

Worst Features

Suggested improvements: put automatic window controls on driver's side door for ease of finding, softer leather in seats, longer console in middle, rear stop lights on upper part of body
