I LOVE my freelander

2003 Land Rover Freelander SE3 2dr AWD SUV (2.5L 6cyl 5A)

I purchased my Freelander in May of
2003 and have driven from the East
coast to the West coast and back again,
stuffed full of possessions and a very
drooly dog. I found that it had
everything I needed to deal with the
mountains, the desert, and the cross-
country trip. I also find it to be
quite efficient around town. It is
lythe enough to handle Los Angeles
traffic at rush hour, while being
sturdy enough to deal with big rigs on
the interstate.

Best Features

I love Freelander's style and handling. I like the locked gas tank. It ensures that no one has added any unwanted foreign objects to my tank. No surprise bleach or bananas in this woman's gas tank!

Worst Features

I will admit that the brake squeel is annoying. I also think the cup holder could be re-thought. All my drinks would end up as hot drinks in the desert. The remaining features add to its flexibility and rugged competance as a capable and flexible vehicle.
