2005 Kia Sportage LX AWD 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 4A)

Just purchased this LX 4WD V6 Sportage. Purchased it for $18700 before taxes, etc. Really comfortable and upscale looking interior. Exterior styling gives it a slightly tough look. Am very happy with it, although the mileage is only 20.5 mpg combined driving. I believe it will yield slightly better results after the break-in period.

Best Features

Adjustable armrest, raises and lowers for increased comfort. Easy drop back seats to a flat surface. Very nice 6 speaker stereo, with digital readout, and ability to easily adjust treble, bass, etc. Hideaway tray under rear floor to store tools, ice scraper, etc.

Worst Features

A little more HP from the V6 engine (this is probably coming soon as the new Sonata has a much improved 235 HP 3.3L 6 cyl. Could use a 5 spd automatic to increase MPG. A lumbar adjustment in the drivers seat. Trunk window seems to bounce when shutting hatch, like it doesn't latch completely.
