Even better than I expected
I’ve had my Sportage for about six months. I find a ride to be extremely comfortable. Plenty of pick up fabulous gas mileage roomy interior great storage in the trunk area. Some people complain about the controls are hard to use, but I find them quite easy. I just keep it in climate mode the whole time and any radio or audio Settings are done on the steering wheel. It's been over 2 years since I started driving my Sportage. I still love it as much as when I bought it. I'm averaging 35mpg and love the comfort of the ride. Visibility is excellent and the sound system is GREAT. VERY HAPPY with this purchase

My first KIA ❤️
I do my homework and read many reviews before I test drive. I have had 2 HONDA CR-V, and my last car was Toyota Venza Hybrid, which I liked. The Honda CR-V hybrid and KIA Sportage hybrid, earned the top two spots, in reviews. I test drove the 2025 Honda CR-V hybrid and found it to have less features than my Venza, sluggish, and cost more. Then I test drove the 2025 KIA Sportage Hybrid SX-PRESTIGE. Hands down, this was a much smoother ride, came loaded with incredible features, had much more space than the Venza, and seemed as roomy as the CR-V. I bought the KIA for $3,000 less than the Honda I came with far more features. I LOVE this car. I’ve had it for three months, and every person who rides in it is impressed by the ride, looks, features, and mileage that I get. I’m looking forward to trying it in the VT winter snow. If it does well, I’m pretty sure I’ll stick with the KIA Sportage, when I trade in three years. If you are looking for a great car with an amazing warranty, test drive the KIA Sportage Hybrid.

Fun, comfortable, and efficient!
What I like about this car compare to its rivals is that it’s really quiet when you’re driving. Minimum road noise and the cabin is also quiet. It’s spacious in the 2nd row for your friends and families and the rear seats can recline to give your passengers comfort for long trips. Large cargo space! You can switch the drive mode from eco, sport, smart, and snow. The dual climate and audio buttons can be annoying switching back and forth. It’s something you have to get used to. No wireless CarPlay. You would I have to plug it using a usb cable. But, overall a great vehicle coming from Kia which I didn’t expect. Kudos to the engineering team @ Kia. UPDATE: I have owned several vehicles, primarily Japanese due to their reputation for reliability and dependability. This is my first Korean vehicle purchase, and I am highly impressed with Kia’s design and interior design. However, after owning the car for 10 months, I have noticed that some of the trim components, such as the seats, door handles, and plastic trim, are wearing and fading. It is important to note that I am driving the SX Prestige, the top trim. Consequently, I am disappointed with this aspect. Despite this, I have been averaging 38 to 40 miles per gallon, which is satisfactory considering my daily commute, which is 62 miles a day. This commute involves freeway and stop-and-go traffic, which I appreciate. Additionally, I have been able to achieve a range of 492 to 502 miles on a full tank. The vehicle is very comfortable and spacious. Another feature that I appreciate is the Kia Connect app. Overall, I consider this a very solid commuter vehicle. For a car priced at $38,000, Kia should prioritize maintaining the quality of its premium trim levels.

Great MPG...with a bit of effort
I upgraded from a Hyundai Kona. Kia is made by Hyundai, so a lot of the tech is is somewhat familiar. If you customize the buttons, the infotainment works great. It has lots of amazing features and information. Love the huge screen on the EX. The Sportage has literally twice the cargo space and 50 more horsepower than my Kona. I am new to hybrids and was not taking advantage of the electric motor at first. After watching a YouTube video on how to boost Sportage's mpg, I achieved 42 mpg on my next highway trip. You have to learn how to get the electric motor to charge up and take over from the gas engine. UPDATE: As weather got colder, I noticed an annoying wind noise from the drivers window at higher speeds. The dealer could not diagnose it, but I found that the seal on the top right side of the window was not tight. I could have the dealer take the door apart and start replacing parts, but I was able to cut a 3 inch piece of rubber weatherstriping and stuff it in a place where the window can still operate. The noise is eliminated. I would rather not have the dealer messing with the door, but if my fix fails I will have to.

It was worth the wait!
Love this vehicle! So quiet and comfortable and a pleasure to drive. The drive train is so smooth I can’t even feel it switch from electric to gas. I haven’t found anything that I don’t like about it yet. I am glad I waited for the Sportage EX Hybrid to arrive and not settle for the LX gas only model.
